Anyone sure why he invades us even after reveling in the death of Messmer? Saying he’s going after more of Marika’s kin with this new found bloodlust… so he… goes to kill us? I understand it eventually if his end goal is to eradicate all tarnished from the Land of Shadows, but to step directly to the one that helped to defeat Messmer is a bit crazy. 😅

For anyone not getting him to invade in chuch of the bud he will spawn when you fight leda if you did the other steps correctly

I wonder if you can only get one per playthrough. Because I accidentally gave the Iris of Grace to the dark knight NPC and got the spirit ash. I don't even remember getting the Iris in the first place, it was the only option I had when I talked to her. But at least I know now in the next playthrough to just give the opposite item to those two NPCs.

Idk what i did but the fight against leda wasnt there i guess cause i killed golden hippo early but he was still in messmer arena

Hey, so I don't know about anyone else, but talked to him once at the highroad cross. I then went and killed messmer, reset the area (he wasn't there). I went back to highroad cross and talked to him about the boss fight. I went to Church of the Bud, Main Entrance and backtracked to the stairs, I road down the stairs a little bit and got invaded by him. Hope this helps someone lol

Why wouldn't you say that the two rewards are mutually exclusive? I thought you get both if you offer both items. I wanted the sword but I got the ash...

Went to the summon signs and nothing there I did kill the boss before going to where the summon signs are supposed to be so did I moss put on thos I take it?

If you kill leda helping him, she still appears at the endgame?

leda's dialogue doesnt continue after resting on the grace for me. She just repeats "allow me some time to mull it over"

Does helping hornsent lock you out of other quests involving lena?

What if you kill hornsent instead of assisting? Do you get his weapon set and armor?

The beach scene will never not be funny, poor Cloud is mentally 16 and this is the first time he's seen Tifa almost naked and she damn well knows what she's doing leaning in like that. The sidequest with the girl who likes Johnny has Tifa say "she gets this all the time", she is damn well aware of how the affect she has on men.

I'm stuck at step 4. Leda keeps saying how she will follow Hornsent to black keep and i'm supposed to see the summon signs there but she's not moving there and the summon signs are not appearing... *sigh i really hope the questline is not bugged because if it is then i'm done with the dlc. I'm not replaying all the dlc just to do this questline. Like this is so frustrating i can't progress the dlc and kill Mesmer because if i do that then the questline fucks up. So i cannot progress the dlc without the summon signs showing up... i want to do this questline i did all the previous parts.

Ive got a theory. The iris that can be either(grace or occulation) is determined by which ever one you have less of. Ive gone in with more occulation and got grace 2 times.

if i help hornsent againts leda,i lose leda questline? i say it cause leda just dissapear after i did this and kill mesmer

Do you still get swift sneak if you help Leda? Otherwise killing Hornsent is just a better choice so you can progress the other quest

Zack's LB makes me realize how much he sequence with fighting Sephiroth bugged me. They did this jank thing with Angeal's old saying and the pose with the buster sword but Cloud said protect your honor as a solider. And yeah I get it Zack also said this to him but he doesn't say it once in the OG. Why? Because being a SOLIDER is nothing something he's proud of even if his memories are fake.

Yeah, he won't invade me. I beat the Bud Saint prior to Messmer, and didn't talk to Hornsent after the Messmer fight, also didn't help him or Leda fight eachother.

I rested at grace after fighting Messmer and he disappeared. I think I just screwed over the entire quest😤

Step 6 signs won't appear, I'm at messmir but haven't killed him. Did I fail the questline and can't get swift strike now?

So for the third and random one. I already used the grace iris and have the other one in my pack (cause I want 2 ashes) and I got the grace iris.
